Please Note – I will not be spoiling anything for you; this does not contain any spoilers…
We all have been waiting for this for a long long time and what a fantastic start to the Final and most anticipated season of al. The season where we (hopefully) will get all the answers we want…
Firstly id like to start of by saying how glad i am that i went to egypt this past winter and learnt a great deal about egyptian mythology, after watching the season 6 premiere so many things made sense to me that i would have only had if i had either studied mytholgoy or gone to egypt and lived its history through the storytelling of travel.
Lost may not have started by telling us all the answers we wanted well it is the season premiere and i dont think any of us expected all the answers, we do understand about the aftermath of the season 5 finale and it was quite beautifully done. i did not expect the way it turned out but i was satisfied with it.
The storyline of jacob and his nemisis by far was the key point of the show and just left me in awe of what JJ Abrams has done, although after watching it and understanding that JJ Abrams is not the father of the storyline as he has a clear knowledge of egyptian mythology and has taken that as a base for Lost. We should be learning more about the mythology and how it is linked with the stories in the episodes to come one hopes.
Secondly i would like to add how much fun it was to see my favorite characters back on screen wow nostalgia, suspense, heartbreak and adrenaline everything was on full spirit throughout the 2 hours that was the season opener i am pretty sure ABC will be thrilled by the ratings and im sure it has beaten every other show on the timeslot.
I also feel really bad for White Collar a witty new drama about a convicted mastermind thief Niel Cafferty who starts working for the FBI. The show White Collar which is still young to our television sets on the USA network had just taken a fall break and comeback only to go up against Lost oh boy talk about david vs goliath.. i like white collar but i feel they should not have taken a break and continued through the fall and taken a break now. They even changed the day that it airs on from friday to tuesday are they trying to get rolled over or what??
NCIS and NCIS LA .. i think NCIS would have still roped in some ratings being a top show and again one of my favs on CBS and NCIS LA the spinoff starring LL COOL J and Chris O donnel would have taken a serious head going up against the second episode of lost. the show is new and hasnt really fit well in my opinion as NCIS the original series (also a spinoff of JAG) does.
Lastly Lost’s episode got me thinking oh god its the beginning of the end, Heroes has been so dissapointing of late and so has Fringe that ive given up good drama series with a fictional sci-fy twist that i dont know what i will watch once LOST is done. Its truly an end of an era, i remember being so addicted to LOST when the first series started my friend Kabir and I would be watching episode after episode into the wee hours of the night when my mom would literally have to throw him out of my house.
“This Message has been playing on a loop for 16 years!”
That line was the line that hooked us in hooked us in so bad that after six long years we are still waiting to understand and comprehend answers from the very first episode. during this long six year saga my friends and i have had equally as much by discussing the meanings that lost has provided us with, the clues, the answers and why we cant stop watching the show it has been almost as much fun as actually watching the show.
Being a producer i also wanted to state the fact that it is so hard to shoot a show like this the continuity needed is unbelievable the 6 year long script needed to be finished before they even shot the first episode i would imagine because of the time travel twist, i am sure they must have shot so much during the first few scenes of ocenic flight 815 as new shots keep emerging thoughout the other seasons.. the flashbacks are so well done and they link the story togther like no other show before it and the cliff hangers hearing that THUD of LOST and the Graphic has just been engraved in my mind if i ever hear that sound and graphic play anywhere at the end of any show im going have a chill run up my spine…
After the Series Premiere of lost i had just one word to say, and six years on after the series premiere of the final season of LOST i have the same freaking word still in my head ……… “WHAT??”

Bubba the Lovespunge on his radio show recently had Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan with a No holds Barred interview about the current state and future of the company and the route the Bischoff-Hogan Regime is heading towards.
What im going to do is Strip down the actual recording to the bare essentials one needs to constructively talk about what they said and my opinions on it, there were a lot of disturbances in the show as it is with so many egos floating around and a obviously there had to be one 12 year old cena fan who had to call up and abuse hogan while he was high on those gummy bears and redbull mixture :p i will also post a full downloadble version of the unedited interview incase you want to listen to the whole thing.
well after listening to that answer i dont think it leaves anything to the imagination of what Eric and hogan think about the honky tonk man, honky was clearly buried by the team and quite rightly so, honky tonk man according to me never had the talent and will never be able to add anything to tna except maybe pull its ratings down further well done eric good comeback 🙂
EXCERPT 2 (Will TNA go PG and Is TNA heading to Monday Nights Permanently?)
Two big questions any sports entertainment fan wanted the answers to.
Firstly i was taken aback when Dixie Carter in a previous interview said she would want TNA to become more family oriented something that the WWE has been going for in the past few years. TNA needs to be as different as possible and since WWE has taken the route many “older” fans dissaprove of im glad TNA is wanting to go in the opposite direction something similar to the Attitude Era.
Secondly probably the answer we all wanted to know after watching the Jan 4th show is TNA going to move to monday nights on a permanent basis? the Answer that i interpret from hogans response is YES they certainly will… There are positives and negatives for this just like the old monday night wars they will be dividing the audience but seeing int he past 4 weeks TNA do want to take on WWE directly this seems to be the only way they NEED to be LIVE and up against the 800 pound gorrila that is WWE and try and do what Eric and Hogan did with WCW and Succeed this time around.
A caller asked if Eric was a fan of wolfe. Eric quite rightly answered hes got a good character, mic skills etc. i agree Wolfe and The Pope are two my big picks in TNA i would really like to see them go far and get a push soon Pope more than wolfe simply because of his superior mic skills correct me if i am wrong but i see him like i did when the rock was a rookie and starting out its a big comparison and im sure the pope would be humbled at this comparison but i see something there if he gets pushed right. coming back to Desmond Wolfe i think his wrestling abilities are good and Kurt Angle worked a really good match with him when Wolfe came in he was put over correctly we forget that this kid has been in Tna less than a month or two i think and hes a built quite a rep which speaks for itself. Lastly since we are on the question of upcoming talen i would like to point out that Matt Morgan deserves a big push towards the world championship category he has the look and ability to do it a bit of refinement on the promo bit and hell rope in big bucks for TNA guaranteed.
Hogan was quoted as saying “Abyss is the next Jhon Cena!” finally something i can finally disagree with, please give me a break abyss he may be a great guy and all but a cena thats taking it too far, im no jhon cena fan ill leave that for the kids to determine but Abyss will not be a major player and if they are thinking of giving him a push like wwe gave to cena it will backfire i guaratee it, TNA already have a Jhon Cena named A J Styles hes got the total package and hell be the no.1 TNA talent that WWE would love to get thier hands on im sure.. I have another thing to add about AJ i think his heel turn came too quickly they should have milked it like the WWE is with Cena i think Eric wanted to make the move before Vince so it doesnt look like they are trying to copy WWE as most of the sports entertainment crowd is poised for the biggest heel turn since Hogan and the NWO, I am sure vince is just seeing the dollar signs when he can have the perfect storyline the perfect hype the perfect opponent and the perfect time to let the monster that is Jhon Cena as a HEEL loose it will go over just like the NWO angle and i cant wait for it!
When this shit hit the fan i was really flabergasted at the level TNA story writing has gone to and quite rightly so. I did not no what to make of it weather it was a shot? Are they serious? is it a joke?? Eric answered us telling us his golden tagline “i fired a shot and guess what people started talking its just like when i went on air 5 mins before RAW and gave away thier results!”
Okay Eric i get it you want to be No.1 and your trying to revert to your old tricks but come on you can come up with better stuff. Nobody really gives a shit about Earl Hebner. TNA brought him in as the “Enforcer” and when that failed sent him back to his old job of refereeing nothing more. You guys wanna fire a real shot on the WWE? Want them to feel it ??
Try this – Make an announcement on TNA saying “We know you guys watch WWE, We arent oblivous to it. Until the time we actually hit monday night do this if you are a TNA fan or not… Whenever you see something that is shit on RAW, ECW or SMACKDOWN which is 90% of the time (Laugh) CHANT TNA TNA TNA!!! and When we hit Monday Night you dont even need to chant JUST CHANGE THE CHANNEL to SPIKE TV!!! (Laugh Again and Wink at the camera!)
No gimmick No Storyline but i guarantee its effective pretty soon WWE will have no choice but to censor the chants and when they do that the audience will retaliate and do it even more just like the What? chant of Austin that caught on!
other than this i like hogans reply on the same topic aswell it seemed sincere and from the heart and i think he really needs this hes putting it on the line to take on WWE and wants to do it to avenge his whole personal life etc.

I Shall Leave You guys with a video ive been editing as always all footage is copyrighted by TNA Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment. It is a TNA vs WWE video game montage just somethign to look forward to if the monday night wars go as one hopes it would.
Well something i personally wanted answer seeing the influx of major talent like Jeff Hardy, Ken Anderson, Orlando Jordan, Sean Morley and Ric Flair not to mention the initial spending on Hogan, Bischoff, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman and the Nasty Boyz weather TNA has the money power to buy more talent and weather they are even interested in buying new talent at this stage.
The answer was YES.. YES YES YES!!!! it is clear they are cutting weeds and letting go of a lot of talent that cant cut it or are not in good terms with either Eric or Terry but i thought that was just to balance out the budget sheets that took a major dent with the signing of the new regime. Eric clearly stated they are looking for new talent and would like to look at the FCW talent pool. the Biggest answer in this segment came from both Eric and Terry when they were asked by Bubba wether any current WWE talent was in talks with them who are maybe months away from contractual expirations. When hogan and Bischoff both said yes suddenly my mind started spinning with who could be on the horizon
lets look at who is being underused in the WWE right now – The first name that pops into my head is Kane but i think Glen Jacobs is quite a loyalist at heart but to hell with loyalty when it comes to business right?? weve seen what Eric is capable of during the start of his regime in WCW. other players is my head are Vladimir Kozlov, Carlito,Dolph Zigller, jack Swagger, Mike Knox, Charlie Haas and i guess Matt Hardy although he is currently tagging with the Great Khali.
Out of these i think TNA can really do with Kozlov Hardy and Carlito all with good in ring capabilities experience and decent to good mic skills. Matt Hardy has the most chance especially since he has always been used badly in WWE excpet when Jeff was around and never really got a push other than that time when he got the ECW championship even though at that time it had already started becoming regarded as another US or Intercontinental championship.
The ECW talent will be untouched because it is a developmental show and everyone in the ECW roster will be expecting a big push at sometime.. If i could i would like to talk about the developing talent in the WWE they are doing a fabulous jon with Kofi Kingston,Morrison, Miz, Santino (the guy is a gem!), MVP, Evan Bourne to a certain extent and the chosen ones like Cody Rhodes, Ted Dibiase Jr. who will no doubt go on to become big players like Orton and Cena in the next year. Drew Mcintyre and Sheamus wow and double wow from absolute unknows to a world champ in Sheamus and an Intercontintal champ in Drew they are poised with great momentum for Wrestlemania Headliners soon. ECW Developemental talent like big zeke jackson, Yoshitatsu, Zack Ryder, Vance Archer and the Hart Dynasty are doing extremely well i was watching Superstars just before turning to TNA and i was very impressed with the British Bulldogs Son David Hart Smith this kid has got a lot of talent havent seen his promo cutting skills yet but he has the look the background can easily fit the Legacy duo that is doing so well quite literally since he is also a 3rd Gen star.
EXCERPT 6 (Jeff Jarret, Sting, Commitment towards TNA and the Work Schedule)
This was a longish segment which started of about jarret and his opinion on what sting and stiener are doing with their lack of commitment and then went onto eric discussing how attitudes must change if the company is looking to be no.1 and how everyone needs to give 110% if they want to go ehad to ehad with WWE on monday night. it was quite interesting i wont give too many thoughts on it rather i would ask you to listen to what they had to say as i really cant disagree with anything.
The point i will make about sting is well hes a legend no doubt with flair being in TNA i would have assumed there would be a storyline where they would cross paths and now that AJ has turned heel thanks to Flair it seems only evident to have AJ with a devil on one corner and an Angel in the other i.e Flair and Sting and the descision he would have to make weather to be good or bad i.e Face or heel and then turn him heel instead of the way they actually did, Sting is also coming to a point where he is nearing retirement or should be looking to. with Sting showing a lackluster attutude i would jsut say good bye and send in the young talent to do the job we expect them to. there are enough oldies around in TNA far too many according to me.
Well a fan called up and asked hogan if we would be seing a hogan vs flair match soon the hulkmania tour had two matches where flair put hogan over and everyone expects that match to come about at a TNA PPV soon, Hogan was ready for the challenge and said he would bury Flair. I would like to see the match but then again Flair the WWE was so good to you giving you one of the greatest retirements in this business now you have wrestled after that ok but Do you ahve to do it in front of the television on a PPV in front of all the fans it would be such a slap towards everyone. i will loose a lot of respect for Flair if he comes back to the ring. But who knows Flair said Screw TNA..Whats TNA and what not and still when the dollar signs popped up he made the move so i think anything is possible…
HAHA..What a question im glad Eric didnt shy away from this, But the answer was diplomatic perhaps a little too diplomatic but again seemed sincere so i cant say much. he said that Vince is a great guy in person honest and arrogant and talks to your face instead of behind your back just like Eric himself i would imagine. the only critical point came when he said that vince gets credit for things he shoudnt have hes not that big a genius… Eric went onto say how they are poised for history repeating itself as WWE is backed themself into a corner by becoming family oriented and that their storylines would be cartoonish.
I could not agree more with this hes right on teh money and if TNA does not run away with this momentum and advantage i will be really dissapointed WWE may have a lead but its like the tortoise and the hare story isnt it?? The Hare is snoozing right now and TNA has finally come out of its shell thanks to the new regime and i whole heartedly hope they can make a few gaint leaps while theirs time. The partnership with Spike TV really does seem perfect catering towards the Male Audience, it actually reminds me of this TV pilot proposal i had for spike regarding a new gaming show unfortunatly i was practicing pitching to network commisioners in england who had never heard of SPIKE TV and what audience it caters too if only they hear Eric talk about teh demographic he target during the glorydays of WCW and the same Audience he is planning to target with spike.
A good ending to an amazing interview. The question posed to the duo was who are the top superstars from WWE they would like to see on the show. Both of them picked Orton and Cena… hogan also stated Big Show was not being used properly Eric said he wasnt his biggest fan professionally and that hed like to see Chris Jericho in TNA someday although it wouldnt be jerichos wisest move for now if he did jump ship.
I agree for the most part, They cant say HHH obviously but i think no matter what hes still the man in WWE, The big names yes who wouldnt want them, But if i was seriously looking at the talent pool in WWE i would look towards People like David Hart Smith, MVP, Jhon Morrison. These guys are young Morrison and MVP are cultivated to a superstar level at the moment and im waiting for Smith to make his way into the singles division and be given a major push like Punk and Kofi hes a future title holder if he is able to cut promos well.
Lastly id like to end by saying what i missed in this interview i really wanted some mention of Lesnar or maybe even goldberg im sure Eric has looked into both these Giants. Lesnar vs Lashley is a Wrestlemania Mainevent although it may go down like Goldberg v Lesnar WM XX which completely fell down the pit the only part of that match was the build up and Austin stunning both of them lol. Well i dont know who is going to read this maybe its just me typing nonsense to myself, But if by chance Eric you glance at this i know its long take a look at the TNA Chant Idea its free for you to use but it will cost you next time haha 🙂

5 years into the enigmatic saga that is Lost and im still engrossed in the storyline with so many unanswered question.Being regarded as the “Worlds Greatest Television Show!” i certainly can vouge for the fact that ive had days where i thought to myself (and still do) if i die tommorow i wont regret normal things like love life and friends but holy shit i died without knowing the answers that ive been wanting to know for five years DAMN!
Jhon lock, Sawyer,Saeed, Kate, Jack, Hugo all seem like charcters in history for me and are as influential in my head as Gandhi, Thatcher, Mother Teresa, Saddam, Hitler and the whole list of political world changing leaders. happy yet sad heroes and Fringe have been dissapointing of late but Lost never seemed to shell out a bad storyline improbable storlines yes but never bad… it got me hook line and sinker and im finally thrilled that its over now i can go to the Island in peace when it finally becomes time!!

ANSWER THIS IN THE FINAL SEASON OR I AM GOING TO FIND OUT WHERE JJ ABRAMS LIVES HUNT HIM DOWN AND MAKE HIM ANSWER USING SAEEDS TORCHURE METHODS!!!
FEBUARY 2nd guys GEAR UP Get Your Popcorn and sit down one final time for the ending of the biggest ratings puller in the history of television they hype could not be greater the audience could not be larger and the Storline could not be more addictive!!!!
